As the Maintenance Sales Representative, you will be responsible for the growth of the reoccurring revenue account base. This account base is also known as service agreement customers. You will be responsible for selling reoccurring service solutions to both existing customers as well as newly prospected opportunities, quoting, and collaboration with existing sales staff and administrative personnel.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Demonstrated ability to prospect, research, and qualify potential customers utilizing Carrier’s equipment installed base, referrals, internal leads, directories and competitor sites.
 Ability to secure 5 new weekly appointments through cold calling, utilizing internal relationships and social media.
 Demonstrated ability to perform consultative sales.
 Make effective sales presentations, conduct customer needs assessment, answer questions and objections in a proficient and responsible manner.
 Ability to secure new customer maintenance agreements.
 Utilize qualifying skills to increase quote-to-close ratio.
 Ability to establish customer rapport and effective questioning techniques in order to identify the prospect’s needs, budget, decision making process, timeline, and next steps.
 Ability to promptly address customer objections utilizing sales techniques developed through sales training.
 Ability to develop proposals to address customer’s needs in order to close sales. Ability to develop an active backlog to assure booking goals are consistently met.
 Ability to perform site survey and facility walkthrough to identify equipment and site conditions.
 Ability to plan and efficiently schedule appointments and manage personal time to assure maximum productivity.
 Aptitude to understand building mechanical system basics, facility management budgeting processes, sustainability initiatives and customer needs
 Book service contracts.
 Utilize applicable sales tools effectively (CRM, estimating software, etc.)
 Collaborate with internal staff to deliver quality results

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS:
BA/BS degree w/2+ years service sales experience (not necessarily in the HVAC industry), consultative sales experience is preferable

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:
 Exceptional communication skills (written and oral)
 Advanced ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
 Superb team building and relationship building ability
 Financial budgeting aptitude
 Sustainable services advocate
