We are looking for a Maintenance Production Planning Specialist- Part 145 to join our growing Maintenance and Engineering team. Based in Dublin Airport and reporting to the Line Maintenance Manager, you will have responsibility for short term scheduled maintenance planning, ensuring all required resources are available for the planned maintenance at each station. The role is Monday to Friday.

Your role:

 

  • Attending the Daily Technical Operations and ETOPS meeting to ensure that all required short term maintenance is planned and resourced appropriately. The Friday meeting will encompass work to be performed on Saturday and Sunday.
  • Ensuring all planned work is carried out as scheduled while liaising with MCC, Maintenance Planning and Operations as required to optimize aircraft downtime and maintenance opportunities.
  • Reviewing upcoming work packages to ensure the necessary facilities, manpower, tools, spare parts and equipment are in place to support the maintenance planned for all line stations. Anomalies will be reported to the management team.
  • Co-ordinating the evaluation of any new tasks that are proposed by Engineering Department.
  • Monitoring deferred defects (DD) on all fleets to ensure that the required maintenance is planned prior to DD Expiry.
  • Maintaining familiarisation with the Flight schedule and ensuring that any changes have minimal impact on maintenance opportunities.
  • Highlighting any tasks in the AMOS system that have no estimated hours against them.
  • Monitoring the hours being recorded against rectification work orders in AMOS for accuracy.
  • Assisting the management team in the closure of Audit Non Conformances.
  • Carrying out any other duties as requested by the Management Team.

 

Your qualifications & key criteria:

 

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance.
  • Possess a Cat A and/or CAT B EASA Part 66 Licence.
  • Experienced and competent in the use of IT systems.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a current valid airside pass which includes the ability to pass a 5-year security background check.
  • Possess strong technical judgement .
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Eligible to live and work in the EU.
  • current unrestricted passport.
  • Hold a current full driving licence.
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical and decision making skills.
  •  Proven ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proven organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
  • An enthusiastic team member with a flexible and positive attitude to work effectively in an ever-changing environment.
