Description:This position is located in Balad Air Base, Iraq

Aircraft maintenance oerations (MOCC) develops reports as necessary for aircraft maintenance organization. Monitors Sortie production and maintenance actions.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS/INFO: Must have strong communications and interpersonal skills. Must read, write and speak English fluently. Must have or be able to secure a DOD secret clearance. Regularly required to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, perform repetitive movements, and perform work from ground level to overhead. This position requires frequent standing for long periods, walking, stooping, kneeling, squatting, crawling, and twisting. Assignment location is in Iraq.

Candidates must be willing and able to participate in all set-up activities, assist with receiving and storing supplies and support equipment. The site will still be under construction at the time of the first arrivals. Environmental/weather conditions can be extreme during different seasons. Site is a secure compound which team members will be confined to. Flexibility, a positive attitude and excellent people skills are a must.

*Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

*No SECURITY Clearance is REQUIRED prior to start. Must be able to obtain Secret Clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of 3 years as an Aircraft Maintenance Operations Center (MOCC) technician. This experience must have been a permanently assigned position and a full time job.

Candidate must be a high school graduate or have completed an equivalent program.

Must be able to work without assistance

Candidate must have held a USAF skill level 7 (or equivalent) in his career field.

Candidate must have at least 5 years f recent experience with Fighter aircraft maintenance activities

Must have progressive and documented experience in the fighter aircraft maintenance environment and be able to provide documented qualifications in related maintenance fields
Desired Skills:
Experienced in troubleshooting aircraft maintenance data collection systems

Previous experience setting up maintenance work areas

A strong understanding of the maintenance process

Have a working knowledge of electronic and mechanical systems and components on the F-16 aircraft

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Access)
