ACS Aviation Ltd, a busy EASA Part-145 & Part-M Aircraft Maintenance Company requires a Base Maintenance Manager. This is a permanent position at our maintenance facility which is based at Perth Airport in Scotland.

The company is experiencing significant growth and therefore an opening exists for the right person to join a positive team that is looking at both current commitments and future growth. This opportunity provides a clean and positive working environment which primarily involves Base and Line support of our own fleet whilst also continuing our expansion through the support of our 3rd party customers.

This position is responsible for supporting our fleet and 3rd party customer requirements and for ensuring that the team accomplishes maintenance on time and in accordance with the applicable approved procedures, requirements and regulations in order that aircraft are released to service in a safe, efficient and airworthy state.

This demanding role also involves further development of our capability under our Part-145 approval. A flexible and professional approach is essential as is commercial awareness and a desire to identify and exploit business opportunities.

The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate significant experience in a similar role, and must be acceptable to the CAA by satisfying the requirement of EASA Part 145.A.30 (b) - Personnel Requirements, together with EASA Form 4 requirements as nominated post holder in an EASA Part-145 Approved Maintenance Organisation.

The Ideal applicants would meet the following criteria:-

• EASA B1.2 Licence preferably holding Group 3 Type Ratings.
• Experienced in the maintenance of Piper, Cessna, Beechcraft and Diamond aircraft.• Hold a Full Passport.
• Hold a full UK driving license.
• Have good practical computer skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good people management skills.
• Willing to be flexible with their working hours when required.

The standard working hours are Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm, occasional travel in Scotland mean weekend and out of hours overtime may be required.
