Job Description

Summary

Assists Industrial Maintenance department with project management, project planning, locating parts for machine upgrades, tracking machine up-time.

Essential Functions

* Analyzes equipment drawings and spare parts criticality matrix to add new parts and monitor current inventory of critical spare parts.
* Update the critical spares spreadsheet for all equipment.
* Work with Maintenance Clerk to do a complete inventory of all critical spares.
* Create critical spares tracking sheet to monitor when critical items are checked out of store room inventory.
* Inputs operator down-time reports into Excel.
* Own the down-time tracking program at the facility. This will include developing a completely new system to track maintenance down-time on each piece of equipment.
* Analyze down-time sheets on a weekly basis to locate trends.
* Propose machine modifications based on reoccurring system failures to reduce machine down-time.
* Input completed work orders into Mapcon.

Additional Responsibilities

Must understand and follow requirements of SXP QMS and EHS system.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

* Must currently be attending some level of Engineering curriculum at ABET accredited university.
* Ability to work flexible hours as required, including weekends and holidays
* Computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel required.
* SolidWorks and AutoCAD experience preferred.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
