Logistics Rotables Officer

An excellent opportunity exists for a suitably qualified person to join the Maintenance Control team at Regional Express’ Heavy Maintenance base in Wagga Wagga NSW. This will be a full-time permanent position.

The position of Rotable Control Officer is responsible for the efficient operation and continued development of the company’s Rotable component management.

Position Responsibility
•Management of all component repairs and overhaul including vendor communication
•Warranty claims management
•Component shipping and receiving
•Management of expedient component return from repair vendors
•Component irregularity reporting
•Spares consumption reporting

Essential Selection Criteria
•Advanced computer skills including:
- database development
- data manipulation and extraction
•Strong analytical and prioritising skills
•The ability to work in a small team and an often pressured environment
•High level communication skills and interpersonal skills
•Current driver’s license is essential.
•Must be able to obtain ASIC card, Airside driver’s license, Dangerous Goods license and Fork lift license.

Preferred Selection Criteria
•Engineering background
•Knowledge of aircraft components
•Aviation experience; and
•Experience with IAS (Integrated Aviation Software)
