Job Summary Analyzes, organizes, plans and administers various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, or maintenance/repair activities for programs using established procedures. Analyzes contractual documents, technical data, customer usage data, customer maintenance practices, customer operation characteristics, and related reports for assigned contracts to determine spares provisioning or maintenance/repair requirements. Assists in developing logistics plans in order to enhance distribution of goods and supplies. Follows established policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality and cost control. Assists in conducting requirements in order to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times. Job Responsibilities * Manage over 1000 Government Furnished Equipment pool assets for 5 US Coast Guard platforms * Access USCG Inventory database and manage/fill requisitions, tracking assets at their 26 Air Stations * Responsible for Data entry and tracking of assets, asset locations, repair status, failure data, etc into Access Database * Create daily and monthly reports and deliver to the USCG * Interface with the USCG Item Managers to assure urgent requirements are met * Manage inventory in several Rockwell Collins facilities * Track repairs and MOD’s at Wichita, Atlanta, CRSC, and CR Factory * Assure stock levels are maintained in order to meet demand * Give direction to repair facilities to assure inventory is available. * Direct all USCG CRG assets * Coordinate shipment of assets to engineering, COPS, SCs, factory, etc. * Work closely with other organization USCG, GS PMO, FSE, Engineering in order to meet CRG needs * Understand CRG process well enough to handle PBL and non-PBL repairs * Travel – <25% * Analyzes, organizes, plans and administers various phases of day-to- * day provisioning, spares, or maintenance/repair activities for one or more basic programs using established procedures. * Follows established policies, guidelines and procedures to ensure quality and cost control. * Analyzes standard contractual documents, technical data, customer usage data, customer maintenance practices, customer operation characteristics, and related reports for assigned contracts and pursuit efforts to determine spares provisioning or maintenance/repair requirements. * Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy. * Builds productive working relationships internally and externally. Frequent internal company and external contact. * Represents organization on specific projects.
