Overview
This position will include day-to-day operational responsibility for all crew training requirements as well as various Crew Planning related projects.
Responsibilities
* Success will be determined by the ability to successfully execute a comprehensive training schedule that meets all FAA and Company requirements.
* Specific activities will involve planning, organizing resources, execution and administration.
* Participate with the Fleet Managers and Training Center Manager in the development of scheduling forecasts.
* Determine monthly Training Instructor and Check Airmen staffing requirements.
* Ensure regulatory and contract compliance within the Crew Planning process.
* Respond to Crew Planning related issues from Crewmembers.
* Work on various Crew planning related reports and projects as required.
Qualifications
* Extensive knowledge of FAR’s as they pertain to Crewmember flight duties and regulations.
* Working knowledge of the AIMS system.
* A minimum of five years of comprehensive airline crew scheduling and related experience.
* Must possess the personal integrity and administrative skills to gain the confidence of the crewmember work force.
* Must demonstrate the desire and the ability to work in a fast paced, high stress environment.
* Must have strong interpersonal, analytical, administrative and communication skills.
* Detailed knowledge of world geography as it relates to aircraft movements and crew positioning and de-positioning to and from flights.
* Knowledge of the ALPA/Atlas CBA & AACS Pilot Contract an asset.
