Description
Based in St Bruno, Quebec, you will undertake delegated responsibilities from the lead FA of the platform to ensure its implementation across platform. You will act as the main technical internal referent concerning functional architecture definition to functional architects in product families. You will own requirements related functional features related with Public Address, Train Crew Communication and Emergency Communication functions.
In your role you will:
- Define and maintain the functional features catalogue per platform and ensure their proper value for the final user’s;
- Ensure standardization of Audio communication across platform and product families by applying maximum extend of standardized vehicle function within railway rolling stock project or bid;
- Promote generic Vehicle Concept Definition of Audio communication and act as the design authority for all elements concerning functional integration to ensure requirements and design integrity of the scope are fulfilled;
- Be responsible to take key technical decisions concerning Audio communication functional architecture including functional changes at vehicle level and approval of critical integration documents;
- Participate to internal design reviews and ensure the lesson learnt from previous projects are well integrated.
Qualifications
As our ideal candidate:
- You hold a Bachelor’s Degree or a Master’s Degree;
- You have five (5) years of experience post graduate on the scope;
- You have excellent English and French communication skills, both written and spoken.
