JOB SUMMARY



Thisposition requires a strong knowledge of aircraft airframe and instrumentsystems. The job includes varyingamounts of parts replacement or repair, electrical troubleshooting, inspectionof aircraft or systems and General :
mechanic application. Supervision of the team and direction ofproject flow will be a primary function. Overall coordination of work flow for the project will also be a primaryfunction. Work order processing, logbook, entries, required FAA forms and pricing to the customers are routineduties. Job duties may vary each day andwill encompass projects as designated by the Avionics Program Manager. Will be required to work independently andlead multiple projects. Will have direct customer contact.





ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS

* Perform General :
avionics support items onaircraft. This shall include, but not belimited to items such as removal and installation of panels and components andrepair work.
* Troubleshooting and evaluation of systems onthe aircraft when designated.
* Inspection and evaluation of the aircraft andcomponents when designated.
* Aircraft movement and performance verification of systems.
* Maintenance and repair of shop facility,equipment and tooling to support operations.
* Work independently on projects and leadmultiple projects as assigned. Scheduleand work quality are essential in these functions.
* Process work orders for return-to-service andtimely billing.
* Supervise team members in daily work andproject management for completion of projects.
* Coordinate the interdepartmental schedule andact as production support for manager.
* Any other job-related duties as assigned bysupervisor or management.

JOBSPECIFICATIONS

Education
Highschool diploma or equivalent.
Electricaltech school.
Aircraftspecific factory training preferred.

Experience

8+years prior experience on aircraft maintenance.
Corporate Aircraft Experience
Experiencein supervision of several team members.
FAApaperwork, work order and billing process experience.

Initiative
Self-motivatedand able to maintain a rapid pace.
Ableto process work with minimum supervision.
Abilityto lead and provide incentive to team members.

Ableto deal directly with customers, including with areas of conflict.

Responsibility
Mustperform all work in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration guidelines.Followall company and safety rules during performance of duties.
Maintaincustomer oriented work habits.
Directthe work and flow of multiple projects.
Supervisionof team members in daily operations and duties.
Completionof work orders, FAA paperwork, logbook entries and billing items.
Mustfollow verbal and written instructions from Avionics Repair Manager.
Development,supervision and growth of maintenance program on particular models.
Consistentlyuphold quality standards and adhere to avionics repair procedures and policies.

PhysicalRequirements
Ableto lift at least 50 lbs.

Supervision
Willwork with minimal supervision from the Avionics Repair Manager.
Willdirectly supervise multiple technicians.
Workwith other Team Leaders on multiple projects in a cooperative manager.

Working Conditions
Themajority of work will be accomplished in a heated hangar if available.
Workoutside during aircraft runs will occur.
Variedpositions in and around the aircraft or shop area.

Equipment Used
Personalhand tools supplied by the technician.

Jacks,stands, lifts and other support devices.
Tugs,power carts and other engine powered equipment.
