Lead Accounting Support Specialist - 1078175

Shared Services has an immediate opening for an Accounts Receivable Specialist, working in the Billing Department within the Engineering Business Unit. Responsibilities include, but not limited to generating cost reimbursable type billings, reconciling billings to project status reports, calculation of rate variance billings, creation of contract closeout support, submitting invoices electronically for payment, and working with various levels of staff to communicate issues and coordinate the timely submission of invoices for payment. May provide guidance to less experienced team members.

Qualifications

An Associates degree in Accounting (or related business field) or 6 years relevant billing experience is required. The ideal applicant will have a strong work ethic, excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrate the ability to work independently, have knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and an understanding of the government invoicing process.

Experience in Deltek Costpoint, Cognos, WAWF and DFAS helpful.
