Mission

Develop and maintain commercial relationship with key agencies and corporate accounts in order to meet and grow assigned revenue objectives and product awareness.

Hunt for new customers and identifying opportunities, contract huge corporate and agency traffic flows and monitor revenue development of all contracts.

Channel sales through specific distribution models and tools according to their costs per transaction for the airlines.

Communicate product and pricing news in an efficient and attractive way and act as an airline representative and ambassador at internal or external events.

Implement strict follow-up on sales visits and organize a visit planning according to steering guidelines received from the BDU unit.

Tasks

* Key Result Area 1

Negotiate, contract and manage the assigned customer portfolio of key corporate and trade accounts in order to develop a long-term commercial relationship and maximize sales revenues.

* Key Result Area 2

Build a yearly Account Plan for selected key accounts towards the completion of up- and cross-selling objectives. Develop a true relationship with the client key stakeholders, including dedicated travel agencies. The Key Account Manager is also responsible for the implementation of the Account Plan in order to reach the yearly objectives.

* Key Result Area 3

Ensure proper follow-up and monitoring of customer portfolio performance and maintain the CRM database according to the Airline Group rules, enabling correct account information at all times. Master and maintain a vast knowledge of client’s business, competition and the latest industry news and trends.

* Key Result Area 4

Represent the company on external events (fair, sales promotional actions, marketing activities with travel industry partners and corporate, sales blitz, corporate product presentations, etc.) in order to strengthen the airline group visibility in the market.

* Key Result Area 5

Identify new business opportunities in assigned segments to further develop own client portfolio (new accounts). Prospecting new customers, finding new sales leads/business opportunities in order to grow sales revenues.

* Key Result Area 6

Perform regular visits to monitor the performance, analyze the results and reviews according to set standards, and inform timely of product changes, etc. Master and maintain a vast knowledge of client’s business, competition and the latest industry news and trends

* Key Result Area 7

Coordinate responses to corporate requests for proposals (RFP’s) in order to contract the account and maximize sales, in full accordance with the agreed Airline Group contracting guidelines.

Profile

* Bachelor degree (tourism, marketing or commercial)

* 3 years in a account manager position

* Equivalent experience in the travel industry or airline industry

* Languages : Dutch, French and English, both spoken and written

* MS Office standard suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

* Analytical skills

* Excellent Airline Group product knowledge and the BeNeLux market

* Overall understanding of the booking – ticketing and Air tarification.

* Driving license
