HRGO Recruitment have a new opportunity to work with the exciting world of Aviation Technology.

Position: 2nd Line IT Support

Location: Farnborough

Salary: £25 - £28k depending on experience

What you will do

  • You will support and maintain clients core infrastructure, which will cover servers, networks, telecoms, firewalls to start with.
  • Manage incidents and requests through to completion
  • Support new IT projects, this could include commissioning and decommissioning of new systems
  • Liaising with customers and 3rd party software vendors and suppliers.

Who you will work with

  • You will work in a team of 2nd line IT support agents.
  • The second line have an important part to play with training and supporting the 1st line support agents, so being a good team player is important
  • Your reporting line will be the Service Desk Manager who overseas 1st and 2nd line support teams.

Experience

  • 3 years experience in IT line support
  • have worked with and experience of an ITIL environment
  • MS server 2012 & 2016, active directory, file permissions
  • DHCP / DNS Services & firewalls
  • Good understanding of MS SQL, IS SharePoint, MS Exchange, RDS and terminal Server.
