As a leader in the aerospace industry, we have a number of exciting positions available right now, including a 2019 IT Intern – Software Development in our Corporate IT Business located in Winston Salem, North Carolina.

The Rockwell Collins Interior Systems Summer Intern Program affords students the ability to:
* Access and work with state-of-the-art equipment
* Learn and gain practical experience in a hands-on environment
* Work on projects and programs currently in progress at Rockwell Collins Interior Systems, which allows the intern to apply knowledge that contributes to the overall business

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the general supervision of the Manager of Engineering Applications, the intern will work alongside the Engineering Applications team to support key projects related to IT Engineering Application Admin team. The intern will have assigned duties that may include:
* Working alongside the Engineering Applications team to support the key projects and application development
* Partnering with B/E Solution Architects on various IT projects
* Participating and contributing to weekly staff meetings
* Implementing Automated Testing frame work for PLM system
* Building automated test cases
* Performing other duties, as assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
* Minimum GPA of 3.0
* Completion of sophomore year
* Enrollment in a Bachelors, Masters, or PhD program for the Fall 2019 semester in Information Systems or related degree
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Programming or scripting experience
* Previous internships, research, or project experience in relevant field
* Microsoft Office proficient
* Ability to prioritize and manage deadlines
* Basic knowledge of engineering design process
* Must be available to work for minimum of 10 weeks
* Effective communication and verbal communication skills
