Financial Systems Analyst

Summary:

Work as a member the Financial Information systems team (FIST) that supports Costpoint, Cognos, T&E, Cobra, Salesforce and OnBase. The FIST organization supports the 2.5B U.S. Government Services (GSUS) group of KBR which includes 3 Costpoint databases and 3 business units. We are a multi-company, multi-currency enterprise with employees worldwide.

Manage all elements in relation to the projects module including analysis of project setup, revenue, billing and Intercompany Work Orders (IWOs)

*

Design processes to troubleshoot project setup, revenue, billing and IWO prior to batch processing

*

Prepare and maintain documentation, including policies, process flow documentation and procedures relating to the projects module

*

Assist users with functional questions logged through the KBR help desk

*

Provide expertise and assistance to ensure that all processes are designed to meet SOX, internal audit and business requirements.

Participate in migration of 2 Costpoint databases into one master Costpoint database

*

Review functional constraints and controls for special projects; review requirements and provide support for project plans in order to meet business needs and deadlines

*

Work with IT to evaluate, escalate and resolve defects within the Costpoint - Evaluate scenarios, devise and execute various test plans including smoke, unit, regression and integration.

Support technical upgrades/sys jars through functional testing and troubleshooting prior to application of system changes

Qualifications and Skill Requirements:

*

Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 5 years relevant experience or minimum 10 years relevant Costpoint experience in place of degree.

*

3-5 years of Deltek Costpoint as an administrator or functional SME related to the Projects module

*

Ability to work as member of a cross functional team

*

Working knowledge of front end applications screens, functions and job processing and how these tie to the database tables and other applications, functions and processes with focus on the Projects module. IWO experience highly desired

*

Understanding and experience writing SQL scripts and running queries.

*

Experience with all aspects of functional support for Costpoint, including system upgrades, planning, design, SOX/Audits as well as troubleshooting and assist in resolving technical issues with IT.

*

Batch processing and troubleshooting experience

*

Understanding of the underlying Costpoint tables and data process flow

*

Implementation experience for Costpoint 7.1.1, a plus

*

Government contracting experience a must

*

US citizenship is required and ability to obtain security clearance, as needed
