Job Role:
Reporting to the HR Business Partner, the HR Advisor will provide generalist HR Advice, support and guidance to Managers in their designated business areas and provide ongoing support to the General Manager - HR Operations (Overseas).
This role is based in Alicante (Spain) where you will act as the first point of contact for general HR queries from all Jet2.com and Jet2holidays colleagues and managers, providing accurate and timely advice. You will effectively liaise with our Overseas HR Business Partners based at our offices in Alicante to get support and help with any HR issues/queries which need to be escalated. In line with the overall HR plan, this role will be involved with all aspects of HR including Employee Relations (ER) cases, supporting the development of people capability through Learning and Development and helping Managers and Supervisors get the best out of our people. You will establish strong working relationships with key stakeholders from all Teams in your business areas to ensure that all stakeholders are engaged with the HR Team.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of HR generalist experience working in a fast paced environment. An up to date knowledge of Spanish employment law and understanding how this can impact practically on your business areas and bases is essential. You will be resilient with good commercial awareness. An effective team player able to work independently and to tight timescales, you will be able to successfully manage and prioritise your workload. You will be passionate about embracing the Jet2.com and Jet2holidays culture, be fluent in Spanish and English (Portuguese, Greek, Italian language skills would be highly desirable) and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
