Brooklands Engineering is a friendly yet professional EASA Part-145 maintenance organisation. Based at Sywell Aerodrome in the heart of Northamptonshire, Brooklands Engineering supports a variety of General Aviation aircraft for both commercial and private owners. Brooklands Engineering has particular expertise in the maintenance and repair of the Piper PA31 series , Extra 300 series and as an approved service centre, the Cirrus SR series of aircraft. 

Job Description:

Reporting to the Director of Aviation, you will be responsible for the day to day management of the business and a team of seven staff members. The role requires extensive experience in the maintenance and repair of light aircraft and good understanding of airworthiness regulations, procedures and paperwork. Working days are Monday to Friday 0830-1700.

Essential Prerequisites:

• Unrestricted right to live and work in the United Kingdom
• EASA Part 66 B1 & C Engineers Licence with Full Group 3 and without restrictions EASA 01 through to EASA04
• Good written and spoken English
• Previous experience of personnel management
• Live within, or relocate within, easy commuting distance of Sywell Aerodrome

Useful Additional Skills:

• EASA Part66 B2 Engineer Licence
• FAA A&P Licence and/or FAA AI Licence
• CAA BCAR Licence / LAA Inspector Approval
