A prestigious VVIP operator is looking for an enthusiastic Flight Safety Specialist to join its growing team. The ideal applicant will be a motivated team builder with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in flight safety. In this highly visible role the candidate will have:
• Detailed knowledge and understanding of Safety Management Systems as well as the skills and experience to implement Safety Management Systems.
• A sound background in System Safety Programs and Accident/Incident Investigations.
• Completed an accredited quality system auditor-training course or have hands-on experience in aviation system auditing.
• Experience in the development of Incident Reporting Systems and resultant database management and storage.
• Comprehensive qualifications in safety evaluation and risk assessment.
• A strong command of the English language together with a demonstrated ability to produce well-structured planning documents, briefing papers and comprehensive safety reports.
• Initiative, tact, sound judgement and the ability to maintain harmonious relationships within a small multi-discipline team.
• Advanced computer skills.
• Experience working within a diverse multi-cultural environment.
This position would suit an individual who holds or has held an ATPL with TRE experience or an Aircraft Maintenance License with EASA 66 AML experience.
The appointment will be for an initial two years contract renewable annually thereafter. The employment package includes a generous salary free of local tax, end of contract gratuity and married accompanied accommodation with hard furnishings and free utilities, 60 days leave per annum with free travel to country of domicile, free in-country medical facilities and associated school fees.
