Finance Application Manager Centers of Excellence

Reporting to the SAP Functional Team Leader and COE Manager BJS, the incumbent will be responsible for SAP FI internal support and improvement of the Global Solution for IATA North Asia and Asia Pacific Regions.

Responsibilities

* AR module (incoming payments, invoicing, dunning, clearing of customer accounts, loading BSP and CASS files in SAP, revenue recognition, credit card loads in SAP),
* AP module (Outgoing vendor payments, clearing vendor items, entering vendor invoices with a PO and without POs)
* Fixed asset module (monthly depreciation, acquisitions of assets, transfer of assets)
* GL (manual entries, recurring entries, JV uploads from excel to SAP, foreign exchange valuation, intercompany transactions)
* Understands internal orders, cost centers, profit centers, derivation rules for profit centers, integration between the FI module and the OTC and PTP modules and finally with all the month end and year end steps to be done in SAP (GR/IR maintenance and clearing, accrual deferral documents, etc...)
* Be able to debug in ABAP and to work with interfaces.
* Accept Finance, some OTC and some PTP incidents from the SAP Business Team Service Desk and resolve via problem diagnosis and if required, configuration, unit testing and integration testing;
* Minor System Enhancements (5-10 days per item).
* Actively work with the business to identify opportunities to incorporate new functionality into SAP for finance;
* Then design, build and test the solution to meet business needs;
* Develop, update and maintain applicable SAP Finance functional documentation as required.
* Assist with questions regarding the current SAP finance functional solution and all future solution requirements.

Qualifications and Skills

* University degree in business administration, IT or other related field;
* SAP Skills Extensive hands on SAP experience in Finance and Control (7+ years); in particular New GL, AP, AR, and Assets;
* Some configuration experience of OTC and PTP;
* A minimum of 5 project live cycles;
* Extensive process modeling in a SAP environment;
* Experience in all areas of the SAP Software Development Life Cycle (Design, Configuration, Testing, and Training) in owning a global template;
* Fluent in English; knowledge of other languages would be an asset
* Technical Skills;
* The person can propose standard SAP FI solutions to business issues or challenges.
* The person can know how to configure the SAP system for the FI and CO modules.
* The person can support the business in L1 and support L2 people on the FI module.
