Job Role:
The incumbent is responsible for ensuring that the applications produced meet specifications. He designs, implements, and supports quality applications that fulfill business needs.
Responsibilities
* Support the development team with the implementation of the best practices of Agile development;
* Work closely with the SCRUM team members in order to improve the efficiency;
* Design, implement and test the web multiplatform applications (desktop, digital pad, telephone);
* Estimate high-level time required for all phases of solution development;
* Provide support and maintenance of applications developed and, as required, ensure rotation of 24/7 emergency support.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field;
* Minimum ten (10) years’ programming experience and six (6) years’ experience as Tech Lead of a Web development team;
* Proficient in Visual C#, .Net, JQuery, AngularJS, MSSQL, VisualStudio 2015, etc;
* Familiar with Agile Scrum methodology;
* Comfortable working in a development environment at a fast pace;
* A team player who works well with team members;
* Enjoys challenges and is versatile;
* Interest in DevOps;
* Interest in developing automated tests, an asset;
* Interest in implementing SEO good practices, an asset;
* Experience with a CMS;
* Bilingualism: French and English.
