Engineers with Inspection Experience

MPI have requirements for Engineers with Inspection experience to work in Dukinfield, Cheshire J22986

These are permanent roles paying £24,600 per annum which equates to approx £12.79 per hour PAYE.

39 hours per week available with possibility of working shifts which would be 6-2 and 2-10 dependant upon work load – MUST BE FLEXIBLE WITH POSSIBLITY OF SATURDAY OVERTIME

Candidates must be time-served with papers, including evidence that they have done Inspection previously, especially in FAIRS (first article inspector reports)/SMW or Aircraft Mechanical.

As an Inspector, you’ll be expected to fulfil the following requirements:
To compile First Article Inspection Reports (if First Article Inspector)and ensure they comply to the AS9100 standard
To ensure that issues around non conformance, quality and delivery are dealt with and take preventative action.
To play a part in projects concerning the FAIR process (If First Article Inspector)

Essential Skills
• Aerospace experience and conversant with the AS9100/AS9102 standards
• Experience of sheet metal/fabricated parts
• Experience of creating/reviewing high volumes of First Article Inspection Reports (if First
Article Inspector)
• Ability to read and interpret inspection plans
• Familiar with visual FAIRS/discus technology (If First Article Inspector)

Desirable skills
• Familiar with PPAP process/FAIRS stage 2 (If First Article Inspector)
• An understanding of the different processes customers receive FAIRS (e.g. customer
portal) If First Article Inspector)
• An understanding of MBD submissions
• Ability to confidently monitor KPI performance
• Experience of FAIR planning/NPI integration (If First Article Inspector)
