In your role, you will:

- Define optimized balancing of the assembly line for rate increases on new programs by:

- Leveling & balancing workstations & Manpower requirements based on standard time, Aircraft configuration.

- Identify critical paths for assembly stations & propose optimization scenarios to increase Line efficiency & reduce capital costs.

- Produce Shopfloor balanced schedule;

- Define implementation strategy for approved solutions

- Define Manufacturing plan for a new aircraft program

- Align resources work & act as the link between the different stakeholders;

- Establish inventory reduction strategy in coordination with rate changes;

- Insure capital budget management in coordination with manufacturing plan;

- Prepare & present the progress status to the different management committees;

- Prepare, while required, financial justifications in order to convince of the benefits of the improvements proposed;

- Evaluate machine capacities in coordination with production needs & equipment’s efficiency.

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate,

- You have an Industrial Engineering, Production Automatized or Operations & Logistics bachelor

- You have (2) to (5) minimum years of experience in Industrial Engineering;

- You have experience standard time work studies;

- You have Manufacturing plan experience;

- You have knowledge in line balancing concepts, value stream mapping;

- You have knowledge base in finances & computability;

- You have abilities & experience in project management & team leadership;

- You have an excellent analysis capacity & solving problems;

- You have knowledge in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint et MS Project;

- You have knowledge in manufacturing processes in aeronautics industry (asset);

- You have knowledge in balancing software Aurora (asset);

- You demonstrate an ability to manage priorities & deal with setbacks;

- You like having high level of responsibilities, you like initiate initiatives;

- You are autonomous and you have a good practical sense;

- You are aware about new trends in the Aeronautics & continuous improvement.

- You have experience in Aeronautics , an asset.

- You have strong abilities for communication to different management levels

- You speak & write French & English
