You will be part of the Product Development Engineering, Aerospace team where it all starts for Bombardier as it sets the stage to take full advantage of its investments and the tremendous growth potential of its new products. The organization is responsible for bringing new aircraft programs to their successful entry-into-service. Currently, these new products are the all-new CSeries commercial aircraft and the high-performance Global 7000/Global 8000business jets.
In your role, you will:
· Be responsible for the development/test/certification/In-Service support of the Air Systems of a State of the Art Business Aircraft and specifically
o be responsible for the timely integration of Systems such as the ECS, CPCS, BAMS, APS, WAI, Oxygen, and IDS
o define and manage the overall system and subsystem requirements to ensure safety, certification, and program objectives are met
o will work with the Suppliers as well as other interfacing suppliers and disciplines on the program to ensure the System is properly integrated on the aircraft
o Support the System’s development and achieve key system development milestones such as JCDP, CDR, PDRP, FFRR, Certification, EIS, etc.
o conduct analysis to confirm the system will meet its intended objectives
o Liaise with Certifying Authorities and support their delegates in achieving system certification.
o Drive to closure any design related issues and bring them to a timely resolution to achieve the program requirements.
o represent the System to support other system/supplier related issue
o support Change Management and timely delivery of the parts to support aircraft build
o support Flight Test Activities; timely issue resolution, data reduction and analysis, write, review reports
o support Final Line and Production;
o conduct and support ARP4754system and aircraft verification and validations
o define test requirements and test procedures to support Build and System compliance
o conduct testing on the aircraft or on rigs
o write test reports and support test trouble shooting and issue resolution
o ensure certification documentation is completed in a timely manner to support aircraft certification
Qualifications
Qualifications
As our ideal candidate,
· You have 7+ years of relevant experience in Air Systems Design, Test, and Integration.
o Previous work with an Air framer is an asset.
· you hold a bachelor’s degree in Engineering
· you have good communication and problem solving skills
