Job Role:

Reporting to the Senior Planning Manager, the Engineering Planner is responsible for the forecasting and planning of short, medium and long-term aircraft maintenance activities across the Jet2.com fleet. Production of the required work packages, ensuring all maintenance is correctly planned, distributed and carried out in line with agreed timescales. This role can be based from either our office at Leeds Bradford Airport or Manchester Airport.

This is a vital role within the Engineering Maintenance Team and you will be tasked with building strong relationships with Part M teams to ensure modification/maintenance plans are in place and all required data is available to Part 145. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the fleet maintenance plan is accurate, based on historic utilisation and predicted flying profiles.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of Engineering Planning in an aviation or commercial airline environment. You must be highly organised, possess meticulous attention to detail and have the ability to work in a team environment. The Engineering Planner should also possess excellent communication skills and be able to liaise with colleagues at all levels of the business. Experience of AMOS is highly advantageous.
