We have an exciting new vacancy for an engineering manager to join an innovative client based in Cumbria. Our client is a world class provider of advanced solutions for defence, aerospace, rail and telecommunications applications.

Your will report directly to the LSBU Manager & Technical Director, you will be responsible for all Engineering activities in relation to the Lighting and Systems (LSBU) design and development department. In addition, you will lead a multi-disciplined design team and work with programme management to deliver both customer and internal projects/programmes.

As an engineer manager your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

• Engineering Degree or equivalent
• Engineering background in ideally military or aerospace electronic product design.
• Good understanding of current design software packages
• Familiarity with FAA and EASA regulations is desirable but necessary
