Job Description

CACI is seeking a cleared Electronics Technician II for its technical team in Albuquerque, NM. If you are looking a new position in a company that is a leader, CACI would like to speak with you.

What You’ll Get to Do:

* Assist fellow technicians or engineers with assembling electronics or electro-mechanical subassemblies for prototype models.
* Install power and data cabling; Ethernet, fiber optic and others.
* Terminate, troubleshoot, certify and solder cabling as necessary.
* Install network and communications equipment, troubleshoot electronics to determine failure cause and provide a remedy for malfunctions and perform modifications to electronic and electro-mechanical equipment as directed.
* Perform manual tasks such as; rust treatment, painting and materials removal, metal grinding, cutting and the application of various solutions.
* Work independently and as part of a team, comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights.
* Maintain and adhere to operational procedures and work instructions, follow work orders and assist with preparation of reports and appropriate documentation to include following test procedures and recording results.
* Travel in the continental United States for various projects.

More About the Role:

You should possess proven problem solving skills and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. You will have the ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions. You may be asked to lead a small project team, provide guidance and assistance to new or entry-level employees.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

* A Minimum of a Current Secret DOD Clearance to start with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI
* Typically has 3 - 5 years of experience. Vocational or technical education in addition to related work experience is a plus.
* Experienced with electrical circuit troubleshooting, safety, testing procedures and equipment
* Requires basic job knowledge of network/communications systems and procedures obtained through prior work experience or education.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office products; Outlook, Word, Excel
* Use of basic powered and hand tools
* Physical abilities include the use of arms, hands and fingers to operate tools and various equipment.
* Some standing, walking, moving, climbing, bending, crawling, reaching and handling, pushing and pulling.
* Able to focus in items less than 20 inches away (corrected or uncorrected), see in three dimensions and distinguish all colors.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

* Familiar with National Electric Codes.
* Familiar with electrical Lock out/Tag out procedures.
* Military communications experience in a tactical environment
* Active TS/SCI
