Electronic Technician Specialist

Responsibilities

This position requires US Citizenship or Permanent Resident Status.

Senior Electronics Technician with ability to troubleshoot and repair complex high power flight control/pump control electronic units to the component level with minimal supervision. Ability to read and understand schematic and wiring diagrams, utilizing standard and customized electronics test equipment.
Assist Project Engineering and Work cell staff with technical support of engineering investigations, unit evaluation, recommended corrective action and implementation.
Assist Work Cell management with daily work distribution and direction to department Technicians
Assist Work Cell management with addressing customer inquiries and status reporting.
Support technical review, evaluation, troubleshooting and repair of Special Test Equipment and fixtures.
Requires ability to proficiently set-up electrical test equipment, including oscilloscopes, power supplies, hypots, megohmeters, LCR meter, automated test equipment, and other standard lab equipment. Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of electronic principles.

Job Requirements:
Five to seven years related experience, trade or military training and demonstrated ability to perform described responsibilities.
Must demonstrate effective verbal, written and interpersonal and leadership skills.
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, sketches, schematics and procedures.
Basic PC and electronic console skills.
May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and be a participative team player.
