Our seasoned team of Electrical, Mechanical, Firmware, Software, and Systems Engineers are dedicated to serve the needs of this growing industry. We are looking to hire an Electrical Design Engineer who will contribute to the design of system control computers and motion control power electronics. This position is within our analog or power design and validation team and will be focused on electronic subsystem architecture, detailed design, simulation, test, and document efforts. Typical responsibilities of this role includes: As an Electrical Design Engineer you will… * Design low or high voltage analog electronics circuits with high reliability requirements for aviation environments * Work as part of a multi-disciplinary product development team who defines requirements, creates the subsystem designs, and implements the quality design methodology. This role is responsible for the low or high power discrete analog design, component selection, modeling, and performance analysis * Conduct quality assurance activities including component derating, worst case analysis, design failure mode effects analysis, and bench performance testing * Documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and / or tasks consistent with customer specifications and engineering policies and procedures * Support test development, early production builds, analyze and troubleshoot modules in the lab and if needed in the customer site * Be responsible for meeting cost, schedule, and technical requirements. * Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews Minimum qualifications to be considered… * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution (Masters preferred) * 5 or more years of experience in electrical design and circuit analysis preferred * Be knowledgeable in the application and interpretation of electronics principles * Demonstrated proficiency in component derating, worst case analysis, and 6-Sigma tolerance analysis * Demonstrated proficiency in the creation of schematics in ORCAD * Demonstrated in the creation and execution of MATLab Simulink, SPICE, PSIM, and/or Microcap simulation of electronic circuits * Demonstrated proficiency in the creation and composition of engineering drawings according to applicable Military and Industry standards. * US Citizen/Green Card Holder EOE/AA/Minority/Female/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity/Disability/Veteran
