Position Description:

The Desktop Support Technician performs technical work throughout the entire IT systems development lifecycle: analyzing IT needs, researching options, designing and presenting solutions, implementing and supporting installations. Focusing on technical functionality and innovation he will work with the IT Team to secure and stabilize current systems, while enhancing and developing new technology. The position will support all levels of IT including: servers, workstations, networking infrastructure, mobile devices, software, printing services, and communication services.

•Responsible for providing help desk and desktop support for all employees including desktop, laptop, mobile and remote access

• Manage Help Desk ticket flow and escalate as needed

• Manage user account information, permissions, and rights, documented to support audit compliance

•Support a mixed environment of Windows XP/7/8/10 – using Office 2010-latest version and Office 365

•Hardware support – break/fix, troubleshooting, replacements, moves, adds, changes, upgrades, etc.

•Software support – back-ups, imaging of PC’s, installation, password resets, etc.

•Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards and contribute to process evaluation and improvements

•Monitoring production environment servers

•Clear oral and written communication skills

•Other tasks as assigned by IT management

Position Requirements:

Associates degree in Computer Science or MCSA, A+ and Network+ certifications required.

•Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
•U.S. Person

Ability to work both independently and as an IT team member to provide extended day coverage to our users.• Hours of work required: Full time, Mon-Fri 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (some occasional evening and/or weekend hours as needed)
