The role sits within the Data & Analytics team, which is an area of high growth and a priority for the business.
Responsibilities
A senior data analyst will be expected to guide best practice and delivery within the team and provide mentoring and coaching to less experienced team members.
Key functions of the team include:
- Owning, developing, and maintaining the AJW Data Warehouse
- Delivering reporting and analytics solutions to external customers
- Providing internal customers with reports and training
Key skills/knowledge:
- SQL (T-SQL is essential, familiarity with PL/SQL and MySQL is desirable)
- Data Modelling (Dimensional, 3NF)
- Microsoft BI stack on Azure (SQL Data Factory, Azure SQL, Azure SSAS, Azure SSRS, PowerBI)
Desirable skills/knowledge:
- SharePoint
- JIRA
- Git (or other VCS)
