Job Description

Primary Purpose:

Ensure cyber technologies and customer cyber requirements are merged to create a series of customer service and sustainment oriented solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Support technology assessment and selection, cyber systems design, and cyber engineering process management for complex projects
* Support strategic direction for core enterprise infrastructure and security-supported technologies, including Firewall/Content Filer, Proxy Services, and Cloud services security
* Identify and assess current and future customer IT Enterprise environment requirements
* Support the design and engineering of a secure, managed IT enterprise architecture
* Provide support for the development and implementation of worldwide US government network cyber services
* Evaluate customer needs and provide oversight to engineer and document enterprise architecture solutions to meet government customer requirements
* Develop cyber technical alternatives & white papers that address enterprise architecture transformation
* Work with existing cross-functional technical teams on cyber solution development in response to customer requirements and needs
* Support the development of cyber technical roadmaps for future implementations
* Develop business case analysis on potential cyber projects
* Perform advanced cyber systems modeling, simulation, and analysis
* Review cyber engineering plans and current implementations and makes recommendations to management and/or clients
* Maintain current cyber knowledge of relevant technology as assigned

* Travel to other LGS Locations or Customer Sites as necessary
* Understand and adhere to all LGS Ethical and Compliance policies
* Proactively ensure a safe work environment and adhere to LGS EH&S policies and procedures
* If required, obtain/retain a government security clearance at the level required to perform the duties of the position

Minimum Qualifications:

* Experience and knowledge of complex Networking and IT standards
* Demonstrated experience in Cyber Security technologies
* Excellent computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office applications
* Excellent verbal and written communications skills
* Must be flexible, decisive & proactive problem solver in a fast paced environment
* Knowledge of Microsoft software applications and other software applications as required.

Desirable Certifications:

* Networking - Cisco CCIE
* CISSP: Certified Information Systems Security Professional
* CompTIA Security+

Minimum Education and Experience:

* Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline and 2-4 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
