Job Description

JOB FUNCTION:

The core inspector must be able to perform all operations and operate equipment efficiently in inspecting ceramic cores.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

Inspect cores, perform sub-assembly operations.

*

Inspect, dress, book and blend wax patterns per procedures.

*

Perform other duties as designated by the Supervisor.

*

Check quality of work.

*

Meet the specific requirements of the efficiency standard as established by Supervision.

*

Record on a daily basis all work performed and the correct distribution of the work time by operational codes.

*

Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with customers, clients, co-workers, and supervisors.

*

Keep work area clean, orderly and in a safe working condition.

EDUCATION:

High school education.

EXPERIENCE:

Three months OJT training.

INITIATIVE AND INGENUITY:

Normal initiative and ingenuity.

EFFORT:

Normal effort required.

RESPONSIBILITY:

Responsible for self. Make sure parts meet quality standards. Must be willing to work daily overtime and weekend overtime as necessary.
