Description

Reporting to the Manager, EMEA Training Centers, the incumbent will coordinate IATA Training classes in EMEA.

Responsibilities

Coordinate remotely, from beginning to end, a minimum of 100 Instructor-Led classes per year (ie US$ 1.5m+ worth of courses) for IATA Training in EMEA, primarily in Regional Training Partners (RTPs) or In-House, and occasionally in IATA Training Centers (ITCs). Coordination includes, amongst other tasks:

- Managing the customer (whether CEO or entry-level) relationship: thanks to an in-depth knowledge of IATA Training’s portfolio (300+ courses) and policies, answer any question and provide proactive guidance to ensure a high level of customer service (including visa invitation letters and certificate/diploma issuance) as evidenced by IIL surveys (student, instructor and supervisor) and repeat business.

- Organizing the designated instructor’s travel and accommodation (choosing and booking hotel and flights and managing visa applications)

- Getting the course material received electronically from the Product Manager (PM) printed and, together with relevant publications, shipped to the training location (including custom clearance)

- Liaising with the course venue to ensure proper set-up

Be the single point of contact for assigned RTPs, including course coordination as above, guidance and suggestion on course scheduling or other improvements so as to maximize revenue.

Collect fees and follow up on outstanding debt for all assigned courses, and follow up with Finance on payment application. Provide feedback and status on aged items to the Credit Manager.

Follow through to finalization on a minimum of 5 own commercial leads for in-company courses (or similar contracts) worth a minimum of US$ 80k in revenue.

Carry out any special project assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

University degree in Business Administration or equivalent and minimum 30 months of work experience in overseas operations coordination.

Proven organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; persistent and positive can-do approach

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in an international and multicultural environment.

Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.

Ability to think openly, imaginatively and creatively; must enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment;

Excellent English skills (verbal & written), knowledge of other languages is an asset.

Highly computer literate: fully familiar with Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Strong sales and customer service orientation.
