ZENETEX specializes in management and technology support services for a variety of federal agencies and commercial organizations. Recent growth has prompted a new opportunity for a Contract Assistant to join our corporate team in our downtown Washington, DC office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to learn and grow in the field of Contract Management.

Description

* Performs tasking related to contract administration, including correspondence, documentation, certification, financial reporting for all major contracts
* Coordinates with program managers and business financial analysts to ensure contract requirements are fulfilled
* Generates reports on contract activity and progress as required
* Interacts with internal and external customers to help manage and administer contracts
* Develops and prepares cost estimates, to include estimates for labor, subcontractor labor, travel, material, and other costs
* Participates in special projects as required

Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline is preferred, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience
* Minimum of two (2) years’ business/administrative experience is preferred
* Experience with multiple contract types is preferred
* Proficiency with the complete Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, as well as Adobe Acrobat
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 SharePoint is preferred
* Proficient written and oral communications skills are required, as well as the ability to work independently and meet critical deadlines
* Excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet tight-deadlines are critical in this position
