This position is for a Computer Systems
Engineering position supporting an ACAT-1 program in PEO(T). The selected
candidate will provide technical, engineering, analytical and program support
for a weapons system development program entering its Engineering and
Manufacturing Development (E&MD) Phase.

The
selected candidate will act as a liaison between the government IPT Lead, industry,
and other engineering organizations and Federally Funded Research and Development
Centers (FFRDCs) to guide the development of requirements, define appropriate
trade studies, recommend appropriate solutions and alternatives and coordinate
other technical efforts aimed at the implementation of a new mission systems architecture
and other related efforts under the Mission Systems IPT.

The selected candidate will provide services
required to assist the program throughout all phases of requirements analysis,
system design and development, performance testing, and implementation. The
selected candidate will also work with the IPT Lead to develop industry Statements
of Work (SOW), review proposals, coordinate technical and other program meetings,
develop program-related briefings and other material, and assist in managing
program risks and mitigations to conclusion.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. A minimum of twelve (12) years of professional experience in engineering and analysis is required, of which a minimum of eight (8) years of specific experience in weapons system requirements development and decomposition, systems design analysis, analysis tools development, testing or Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) is required. Experience with agile development processes is highly desired.

Experience with Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide (JSIG) requirements and Risk Management Framework (RMF) documentation and compliance is highly desired. Experience supporting ACAT 1 Programs is highly desired. Candidate must be proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Power Point) and similar computer–based productivity applications.

Applicant selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

A Top Secret clearance with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within the last 6 years is required.
