In your role, you will:
- serve as the main Compliance contact and advisor for BCA’s and BAES’ management and business ;
- coordinate and steer all Compliance activities within both organizations;
- be accountable and will undertake all necessary activities for the proper implementation of the global Compliance minimum standards, principles and measures relevant for developing a sustainable State of the art Compliance Management System at BCA;
- Design and implementation of Compliance initiatives in the BCA and BAES organization;
- Strengthen the Compliance culture and awareness in the BCA and BAES organization by regular communication on Compliance topics;
- Conduct Compliance Risk Assessments in the BCA & BAES organization;
- Provide day-to-day advice and response to Compliance enquiries by BCA and BAES management and business / employees (in alignment with the legal department if necessary);
- Design and implementation of Compliance relevant processes;
- Responsible for Compliance Trainings at BCA and BAES including providing support to local Compliance Ambassadors in preparing, organizing and conducting classroom- and web-based trainings in alignment with the CECO (e.g. definition of target groups and content according to risk exposure etc.);
- Provide functional guidance and support to local Compliance Ambassadors in the BCA and BAES organization and facilitate networking and regular information exchange between the Compliance Ambassadors;
- Support (if necessary) CASRA and HR in local Ethics & Compliance Investigations;
- Regular alignment with the CECO regarding Compliance topics with relevance for the BCA and BAES organization;
- Monitor and improve the effectiveness of the Compliance program in the BCA and BAES Organization;
- Regularly update BCA and BAES management on Compliance topics
Qualifications
As our ideal candidate,
- You have a minimum of 10 years relevant working experience in the area of compliance or legal;
- You have strong project management and communication skills;
- You are able to work within short deadlines and under pressure;
- You show a high level of cultural sensitivity, you are self-confident, persuasive, assertive, agile, focused and willing to make decisions;
- You hold a Bachelor Degree in law, business administration or any other relevant field;
- You have excellent written and spoken communication skills in both English and French;
- You are flexible in your schedule and available to travel;
- You have excellent knowledge at MS Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
