CMM Operator

Position Description

*****2nd or 3rd shift****

This position will be responsible for performing CMM operation and programming if required. Performs basic machine maintenance/upkeep, and assists in gage capability studies. Position will perform CMM inspections using PC-DMIS. Projects may include part or tooling prototype testing and production inspections
Position Requirements

1.Edit programs using PC-DMIS.
2.Ensure that CMM equipment is in working condition & properly calibrated.
3.Generates and operates CMM Programs for First Article Inspection.
4. Determine program requirements based on engineering requirements.
5.Possess good math and geometry skills.
6.Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
7.Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision.
8.Complete Dimensional Inspection as needed.
9.Other duties as needed.

Required Education and Experience

•High school diploma or GED.
•Minimum of 1 year of testing & calibration of CMM
•Basic computer skills & experience with MS Word, Excel, Power point and Outlook.

Must be a US Citizen or a US Permanent Resident per ITAR regulations.
