As the Citrix Engineer, you will be responsible for Jetstar’s Citrix environment performance, reliability and availability. The role is a split between managing BAU escalations as the 3rd level support engineer and being involved in projects that require Citrix SME knowledge and support. The role may also be required to travel to various Jetstar operational locations.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

• Provide technical input and recommendations on policies, standards, practices and procedures for the Jetstar Citrix environment
• Provide 3rd level support to external BAU support teams and engage with the end user community where necessary for incident resolution
• Working with the BAU teams, recommend and consult to the processes for maintaining Citrix services
• On-going monitoring of Citrix server’s performance and health
• Ensure accuracy of the Citrix environment documentation and process to maintain currency of that documentation.
• Contribute to Knowledge articles for front line support staff to provide timely end user support.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following skills, qualifications and experience:

• 3-5 years’ experience in managing a Citrix environment that operates across multiple Data Centres in multiple countries, including multiple language support
• Citrix training certification desirable
• Microsoft certified engineer desirable
• Experience in large corporate environments
• A can-do attitude and a desire to solve issues at the first attempt
• Someone highly analytical and adaptable.
