Charter Sales Executive

Flybmi are currently recruiting a Charter Sales Executive to support its Charter Operations.

This exciting role will serve as the direct link with the company and the client, managing day to day affairs and ensuring customer satisfaction.

This includes the development of Account Management with our many customers to ensure that flybmi is regarded as one of the leading suppliers of Charter capacity, resulting in increased repeat and new business for flybmi.

This role requires professional and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as point of contact (telephone and email) for general charter and ACMI enquiries – processing requests promptly, professionally and efficiently

  • Prepare competitive quotations for brokers and end clients ensuring that these are followed up on to establish the outcome of each Charter request

  • Monitor spare capacity and gather industry knowledge on what other Operators have available in the market so as to vary BMI’s pricing competitively

  • Support the Head of Charter Sales in the production of quotes and reports as and where necessary

  • Liaise with other departments e.g. Operations, Accounting, Aircraft Management, and Crewing to ensure the entire Charter process flows seamlessly

  • Liaise with the Product Delivery and Charter Liaison Manager and all other relevant departments on all aspects of catering supply including pick-up points, bar type, storage etc.

  • Attend seasonal Product & Catering presentations to ensure that you remain fully aware of all new services and catering products that are available to BMI’s customers

  • Maximise efficiency of charter flights by spotting revenue opportunities and ensuring positioning flights are linked together to save the business money

  • Visit Aircraft Brokers, Tour Operators and end Clients in support of the Head of Charter Sales to develop relationships

  • Attend Industry functions such as BACA and broker events as and when required

  • Build up and maintain own key accounts

  • Generate and develop new business and leads

  • Develop and maintain a full client contact database for use in promotional activities

  • Issue charter contracts and invoices for payment

  • Approve charter related invoices where necessary

  • Provide ‘out-of-hours’ telephone cover from home during evenings and weekends – working on a rotation basis as part of the team

Hours of Work:

Permanent full time [37.5 hrs] –Flexibility of working time permitted to cover service hours between 07:00 – 18:00hrs.  Monday to Friday. [Weekend cover via telephone from home will be required from time to time]
