Job Description

Provide ground and flying training for United States Air Force (USAF) and international military student (IMS) pilot candidates, combat system officer (CSO) candidates, and USAF and United States Marine Corps (USMC) remotely piloted aircraft (RPA) pilot candidates in preparation for follow-on flight training.

The training includes, but is not limited to mass briefings, stand-up, emergency procedures, class activities, physical training, etc.) while motivating the students for military aviation careers. The Initial Flight Training (IFT) program also provides the AF the opportunity to screen aviation candidates prior to UFT attendance. This program trains students as stipulated in the appropriate IFT syllabus.

Training will be conducted in a Diamond DA-20 aircraft.

Job Requirements

* Current CFI or prior Military Instructor Pilot w/2 years experience

* Tiered System:

* Tier1: 2000 Flight Hours and 1000 Instructor Pilot Hours

* Tier 2: 1500 Flight Hours and 500 Instructor Pilot Hours

* Tier 3: 100 Flight Hours and 100 Instructor Pilot Hours

* Associate degree or equivalent Military experience is preferred.

* A minimum of three (3) years of related work experience is required.

* Successfully complete the “new hire” program before giving flight instruction to IFT students.

* Successfully obtain an FAA Class III Medical Certificate

* Candidates hired for this position will be subject to a post offer, pre-hire, medical assessment. Candidates must remain medically qualified at all times or face potential termination from the contract.
