Cargo Supervisor Exports

The part you’ll play

* Review operational processes, evaluate and recommend changed procedures where applicable.

* Ensure operational safety and security is upheld

* Provide ongoing leadership, training and direction to staff

* Ensure the Cargo operation meets customer airline service standards

* Regular communication with internal and external customers (including other station management)

* Compliance with Menzies Aviation, PAPL, Department of Agriculture, Customers, ABF and OTS policies and procedures

* Regular liaison with relevant authorities including participation on relevant committees and working groups

* Regular completion of cargo warehouse, office and security audits

* Responsible for GSE and facility maintenance

* Coordination of cargo to ensure customer service level agreements are adhered to

What you’ll need to bring:

* Strong interpersonal skills with proven leadership background

* Detailed knowledge of international & domestic cargo handling operational processes

* Sound computer and word processing skills, including Cargo systems and MS Office

* Excellent organizational and time management skills

* Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)

* Security and Dangerous Goods awareness and handling skills

* High level attention to detail and numerical ability

Working in an Airside role, to follow aviation security requirements, you will be required to hold a full Airside Security Pass and a valid driving licence.
