Location: Centennial, CO Centennial , Colorado 80112 , United States (US)

This position is currently located in Centennial, CO, but will relocate to Denver, near Pena Blvd. and Tower Road, in late 2019.

PROFICIENCY LEVELS:

Entry level uses basic understanding of the field to perform job duties. Works directly with more senior Teammates. Work is closely observed and reviewed.

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

Works and or manages depending on level individual Government business development activities, including products and services, customer relationship and proposal development activities. Meets business development goals and strategies as directed by Government and Military Business (GMB). Level II will ensure business development goals and strategies are defined and executed for Government business revenue growth.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Job duties will differ based on level of position.

* Maintains close familiarity with simulation techniques and technologies.

* Follows up and or identifies customers with specific needs for training system service and product enhancements.

* Contacts customer to introduce FlightSafety products and their potential benefits to the customer.

* Shapes customer’s requirements to FlightSafety product and service line.

* Maintains contact with customers to maintain awareness of their needs, desires and level of satisfaction.

* Identifies opportunities and advises on marketing activities, including trade shows, conferences, and media development.

* Identifies, evaluates and pursues new business opportunities making maximum use of existing data and identifies required information.

* Participates as needed in the creation of proposals, studies, presentations, and program meetings.

* Interfaces with all FlightSafety business units and sales consultants as appropriate and participates in coordinated business development activities.

* Coordinates and or works and supports the efforts of employees from other functional groups which are working on business development efforts.

* Must be able to interact with people of all nationalities.

* Manages complex contractual negotiations

* Exhibit and practice professional and courteous behavior while interacting with both internal and external customers.

* Interact within a cooperative environment through beneficial behavior, commitment to common goals, contribution to problem solving, communication of ideas and suggestions, and encouragement to other employees and departments.

* Accountable for the control and distribution of documents and/or equipment subject to export control restrictions and the security of FSI materials, projects and business information regarding the methods and techniques used in the production and usage of FSI products.

* Accountable for the accuracy and completeness of assigned tasks.

* Able to adhere to a work schedule including prompt and regular attendance.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

Domestic and international travel will be required.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: (Minimum Requirements)

BS degree in applicable discipline such as Business, Marketing or related field. Simulation knowledge a plus.

SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

Office software such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Fluency in English, through both verbal and written communications; Able to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals information, financial reports, and legal documents; Able to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers and regulatory agencies; Able to write presentations that conform to prescribed style and format; Able to effectively present information to top management and/or board of directors.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY:

Able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists; Able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
