In your role, you will:

- Lead your projects and be accountable for their timely execution and completion.
- Control the project plan and respect budgetary envelope.
- Be responsible to track and ensure that projects meet schedule commitments and cost estimates.
- Coordinate the teams for all projects under your responsibility.
- Manage all project risks and oversee resolution plans until their finalization.
- Organize and coordinate project deliverables: Obtain customer requirements, provide clarification of any questions and ensure compliance.
- Keep the working teams motivated and mobilized by managing any project conflicts or pitfalls that arise and advise the management team in the event of problems.
- Prepare presentations for customers and management in order to keep them informed and satisfied.
- Work in collaboration with the experimental shop (unionized staff).

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate,

- You have a minimum of 10 years of experience in an industrial setting, with close interactions between engineering teams and production/manufacturing/assembly.
- Be organized, autonomous and highly motivated by the achievement of results and targets.
- You have ardency, perseverance and demonstrate a great capacity for adaptation.
- Have excellent leadership skills, a strong team player and are a good listener.
- You must be rigorous, possess critical thinking and pay attention to the slightest detail.
- You are reactive, resourceful and have a keen sense of priorities that enables you to optimize your time and focus on important items.
- Have exceptional relational and editorial skills in both English and French.
- You possess good knowledge of the Microsoft Office software suite of applications such as PowerPoint, Excel and MS Project (intermediate or advanced level).
