B1 Fitter (Nights)

Our prestigious client has a requirement for several aircraft structural fitters for an ongoing contract commencing Mid-April.
You must be able to carry out replacement, repair and modifications to aircraft components as required in accordance with manuals or approved drawings.
Use of specialist equipment. Remove major and minor components from aircraft using hand tools and mechanical assistance.
Manufacturing, modification and repair of aircraft structures and systems, carry out scheduled maintenance of aircraft.

The successful candidates should:

Have an Aeronautical Apprenticeship and/or Military equivalent with recent experience of Aircraft structures and systems.
The ideal candidate will be able to work in a small team and ensure all quality and regulatory requirements and standards are maintained.
Possess a sound knowledge of Health and Safety procedures.
Have a proven track record within the Aerospace industry.
Be able to manage internal and external relationships with customers, aircraft employees, other departments and to mentor apprentices through training programmes
G6000 or similar experience would be beneficial
Line Maintenance experience would be beneficial

Skills and Qualifications:

 Ability to demonstrate proof of apprenticeship and core training
 Hold current EWIS certificate
 Hold current Human Factors certificate
 Hold current Fuel Tank Safety certificate
