The candidate will be responsible for Avionics Systems Engineering on the Global 7500/8000 and will report directly to the Section Chief of Avionics Systems Engineering – Global 7500/8000.
In your role, you will:

Act as Subject Matter Expert and Design Approval Delegate for the Avionics Systems on the Global 7500/8000 on all aspects related to system design, safety, and certification.
- Provide expert support to the Global 7500/8000 aircraft program as required (audits, document review, design reviews, supplier’s document review and approval, etc.).
- Participate in the development and implementation of tools and processes as needed by the function in order to meet our organizational objectives.
- Work closely and with the certification authorities, in order to meet the certification requirements in a timely manner.
Qualifications
As our ideal candidate,
- - You hold a Bachelor of Engineering degree.
- You have 8+ years in the aerospace industry with good understanding of Avionics Systems requirements and solutions.
- You have experience and understand how these systems integrate and interact to the overall aircraft.
- You have experience with both development and sustaining programs. (Asset)
- You display strong interpersonal and professional demeanor as a technical representative of the company.
- You have knowledge of BES, Change Management, Configuration Management and Continuing Airworthiness aspects.
- You have very good communication skills, verbal and written.
- You have excellent problem solving skills, work planning structure and prioritization.
- You have the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Willing to travel.
- Flexible hours.
