Aviation Maintenance Supervisor

*Note: This position is for a contract that we have submitted a proposal and fully anticipate the award. The locations to be covered will be Vance A.F.B, Enid OK and Columbus A.F.B, Columbus, MS.

The Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor leads the maintenance team for the assigned aircraft. Ensures the team maintains aircraft systems and equipment by completing preventive maintenance schedules; restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts.

Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor Job Duties:

* Supervises maintenance team by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions; recommending compensation actions; adhering to policies and procedures
* Meets maintenance operational standards by contributing maintenance information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems
* Evaluates functionality and reliability of systems and associated equipment by conferring with operating maintenance departments; identifying problems and requirements
* Assures the reliability of aircraft systems and associated equipment by leading the maintenance team in implementing a preventive maintenance program; operating and testing systems and equipment; restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts
