Moog Industrial Group is seeking an Associate Logistics Technician

As a member of the Central Dispatch Team, you will perform various physical and transactional process based operations supporting production, repair, development and non-production (MRO) requirements of the business. Together with other team members, you will engage in the direction of the team by coordinating efforts, developing capabilities, completing training, communicating status and leading change to improve team performance. Additionally, you will support team initiatives and coordinate / manage team performance through the use of metrics and data to meet or exceed safety, quality, delivery, cost and lean performance goals.

Your day-to-day activities will include:

· Performing various physical and transactional process based operations, such as material delivery, kit pulls, floor stock replenishment, material stocking, receiving, packaging, shipping , driving/transportation ESD (electro-static discharge), and/or inventory management.

· Actively participate, and in some cases, lead team projects, process improvements and lean initiatives intended to improve overall efficiency.

· Learning, teaching and communicating performance metrics to other team members and promoting team accountability for their performance.

· Coordinating efforts to accomplish daily schedule priorities and commitments.

· Collaborating with the Supervisors, Managers and other identified representatives, to provide the overall leadership of their team.

· Providing training as required to enhance the capabilities and knowledge of other team members.

· Leading and/or participating in process improvements intended to reduce waste and improve efficiency within the work area.

It will be necessary for you to have:

· High School Diploma, or equivalent.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Knowledge of how to navigate various computer and software systems, with the aptitude to learn new systems.

· Exposure to and/or experience in using equipment such as manual and motorized pallet jacks, pallet lifters, fork trucks, power and hand tools, engravers, motor vehicles, etc.

· The ability to constantly be on your feet and capable of lifting materials and containers of up to 35 pounds regularly.

· At times, you may be required to work off-shift hours for short periods of time to accommodate internal promise schedules.

The ability to volunteer, willingness to learn, display a positive attitude, set a good example and positively contribute to the teaming environment is essential.
