Reporting to the Manager, Business Systems Operations, the incumbent will be responsible for providing timely support on operational issues raised by regions, project teams and any other IATA stakeholders (FDS and other IATA colleagues), coordinating operations activities with internal users and systems suppliers and acting as SNAP Admin for the stock management activity. The business systems supported by the department include BSP, CASS, IRIS, SIS, ICCS, ICH, SNAP, AMS and Salesforce.

Responsibilities

As member of the Business System Operation Support team, provide effective and timely 2nd level support for the IATA business systems in accordant with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs);
Manage the GDSs/TSPs Testing and Certification for participating to BSPs
Act, as coordinator for the set-up of new BSPs and provide support to regions and other IATA stakeholders
Act as a liaison between the stakeholders on new BSP and DPC migrations and coordinate requirements and set-up. Maintain and execute project implementation plans from inception to final partners’ signoff
Facilitate the relationship between the DPCs (Data Process Centers) and IATA DPC software (iBSPs) developer and supplier. Participate in the different entity meetings, understand and evaluate the issues raised and propose solutions.
Contribute to the improvements to the related operations issues or processes
Manage the regional team requests for incident reports. Assess the reports provided by the providers, understand the root causes of the issues raised and ensure that corrective actions are proposed and implemented.
Support the development, maintenance and enhancement of the mitigation plan for system operations risk.
Conduct operation testing activities for systems and support the regional network organization in its related activities. Provide support to the Weblink Central Business team in coordinating DPC level tests for new set-ups and extend subject matter expert support on DPC processing to facilitate DPC interactions
Provide support to Global Data Maintenance activities for supporting systems
Support the Business Systems Operations Support team in the handling and closing items for Audits
Support the ACR (Application Change Request) process both on the vendor side and internally, and contribute to ensuring smooth management of requests in Salesforce and other systems as per the agreed SLAs
Participate in Business Systems Operations projects when required
Assist and support the other activities of the Business System Operation Support team.

Qualifications and Skills

University degree in Information Technology or Business Administration or related subject or equivalent experience (Technical profiles would be prioritized)
High level of Excel, Access and VBA is a must
Minimum of 3 years’ experience of working in the Air Transport Industry, with full understanding and experience of airlines value chain and IATA FDS Ops
Knowledge of IATA Business Systems, technology used, the Dish and the process flows and IATA Resolutions is an advantage
Quick learner, technically oriented, critical thinking
Autonomous worker and at the same time proven team player with a strong positive attitude, energy, motivation and results oriented;
Experience in managing business process alignment and improvement
Project management experience is a plus
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work internationally and cross-culturally. People and Team oriented
Ability to think “out of the box” and challenge the current way of working in order to drive for continuous process improvement;
Ability to cope with deadlines and to work under pressure;
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English is required. Spanish or Chinese is a plus.
