Reports to: Global Sales Development Manager

Purpose

Manage all tasks involved in the design, construction and interpretation of Global Sales reports. Ensure the usage of sales tools supports the decision making process and optimises revenue generation across the Cathay Pacific sales network.

Key responsibilities and tasks

* Manage a range of business intelligence and sales tools, including eSmash, MIDT, PRISM and Salesforce.com

* Evaluate the value and the return on investment for these tools

* Devise improvements to the tools based on the needs and priorities of the business

* Mine data and develop reports to identify opportunities and trends for various segments and agency types

* Drive local sales teams’ usage and adoption of the tools

* Provide guidance on report generation and the use of reports

* Develop and improve internal and external scorecards to help monitor and drive business

* Ensure accurate and timely performance reports are developed and delivered to stakeholders

* Provide supplementary and ad hoc sales development reports and engage in business intelligence projects and studies

* Manage and develop the direct reports to assist with the above

Qualifications / Experience

* Minimum 5 years’ work experience, preferably with some people management experience

* University degree holder, preferably in Business Administration, Statistics or related disciplines

* Experience in airline business intelligence management and reporting tools such as eSmash, MIDT and Prism

* Strong analytical capabilities with a good command of analytical tools such as Excel, Access, Databases, Brio

* Strong commercial acumen

* Results-driven with proven ability to influence internal and external parties

* Strong communication skills

* Experience in travel management companies or airline sales in the APAC or Chinese markets would be an advantage

* Proficiency in Salesforce.com a plus
