Description:The ALIS Software Sustainment Manager is responsible to execute the software sustainment functions for the fielded ALIS baselines with annual budgets of ~$20M. In this role, the selected candidate will lead a team of ~50 cross-functional disciplined professionals and is ultimately accountable for program planning, inbound Action Request (AR) and Problem Tracking Reports (PTRs), requirements development, design, integration, certification, and fielding update activities. The successful candidate will be accountable to execute the program requirements within cost and schedule constraints including, but not limited to, the following key activities:
* Provide planning, organization, control, integration and completion of the ALIS SW sustainment tasks
* Provide overall planning, organization, control, and integration of the ALIS field AR/PTRs into the fielded baseline release or next major ALIS release
* Ensure horizontal integration of ALIS SW sustainment activities across ALIS contracts
* Review proposals prior to submission for accuracy and completeness
* Ensure program operations are meeting or exceeding program goals and objectives
* Maintain and monitor program metrics to identify operational deficiencies, establish root causes and implement corrective actions to achieve all program cost, schedule, and technical objectives
* Identify and implement areas of process improvements for program policies and procedures
* Provide weekly status reports to senior program management and customer representatives
* Prepare for and participate in Monthly/Quarterly program reviews
* Prioritize tasks and resolve intra-program conflicts

This position will have a direct relationship with the customer and will frequently engage with various program stakeholders across the F-35 enterprise.
Basic Qualifications:
* Demonstrated ability to manage software maintenance, development and system sustainment efforts
* Outstanding knowledge of Systems & Software Engineering process and activities
* Proven Experience with EVMS/CAM processes
* Integrated Management Plan (IMP) / Integrated Management Schedule (IMS) experience
* Risk and Opportunity Management experience
* Proposal Management experience
* Full Spectrum Leadership characteristics
* Able to obtain a SECRET/SAR clearance
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate to all levels of management and customer organizations
Desired Skills:
* Working knowledge of fifth generation fighter jet sortie generation lifecycle maintenance, supply, and mission planning/debrief processes
* F-35 ALIS experience
* Managing multi-functional Engineering teams responsible to sustain classified/unclassified, large scale, complex enterprise-level IT systems
